This is the best trance remix on newgrounds by far. if anyone on newgrounds can top this with another trance remix, i'll be amazed...but we all know that wont happen. lol

I'm actually about to release my version of still alive...just not trance though. be sure to check it out. You'll be amazed, might cry a little, but in the end, you'll know that you're still alive. (LOL best quote i ever came up with)

Now really, the ONLY thing that urks me is at 1:11 when the 1st verse comes in, it's a little bit off beat. try to fix that. other than that, this song pwns. ^_^v

I was actually working on the track some days ago, but I got a critical error and the program shut down automaticly (and I forgot to save). But I've listened to that part multiple times now and I actually can't hear what's off beat there though :S

This is pretty cool. yes I know it was originally from DKC2 (which is my favorite one out of the 3), but this is brawl's melody (to a certian extent....meta knight ftw! O.o), which i'm not saying you stole the melody (which is why we call it remixing lol). hell, I loved brawl's theme. but this is also good. however, the EQing kinda needs work. some parts are lower than the song itself. so i gotta turn up the volume to hear it. but that's about the only flaw i can hear in this song. other than, that it's not a bad song. keep it up. I hope this review helps!

also, check out my songs as well. I remixed this song as well (just not the brawl version...and it's old lol). ^_^v

I have not played SSBB though I do have Melee. So no I had no intension's for this to sound like Brawls version but I have heard that Brawls is more up beat then the original and I did plan on my version being more upbeat. So I guess I can see where mine may sound like Brawls...LOL. Thanks for the review and all it is helpful.

this just made me realize how much i'm starting to hate the AP. It's crap songs like this that get top 5. I mean seriously, a song like as simple and generic as this getting top 5!? joke or not, this song shouldnt deserve to be on this site. I'm really sorry to sound like this for real.

How many songs have you seen that feature a new up and coming singer *Ahem*, well, sort of, making a total prat of himself in a halirous manner? The word generic implies that the subject is not unique, when, in fact, this work of fail is in fact the most unique thing ever. It's also terrible. Nobody cares.
Also, it may interest you to know that the selection of the weekly top 5 is, in fact, automated, as indicated by the large, lime green robot character shown rather obviously on the front page (And the information page thereof). As such, you cannot in fact blame Newgrounds as a singular entity for the selection of this piece among the weekly top five. In fact, it was the combined efforts of hundreds of viewers, with a sense of humor infinetly more alive than your own, that brough this to the top.

You just made me cry. The original version of this song was so beautiful. When I saw this on top 5 i was like "This is a Still Alive remix" then BAM! it's playin. and how ironic is this: I was listening to the original version eariler, then i found out you remixed it. hahaha teh irony!

Anyways, this is the most amazing song I've heard on NG so far. Now I cant remix this song because you did it. This is just too beautiful.

You should remix it too! i dont think you can give this song enough love, besides... a lot of professional DJs are already remixing it... and they are coming out with a free remix album so... there's still a lot of ways to remix this song i guess :P
